The web and I
What I like and dislike. There are several things on websites or in the web
generally that I like and will hover around these things for ages. Then there
are things that make me click the sweet cross in the topright corner of the
window. And there are things I generally noted.
Likes!
- Amazon.de, Where I get most of my books, games and cds from.- Nice, easy to navigate layouts which still are creative in one way or the other
- Submenus that have their own place/frame/whatever and don't go into the mainframe
Dislikes!
- These annoying DHTML-vote-for-me popups. Really, I like to vote for people, but when I see a popup like that I happly click the No-button while adding a few exclamation marks behind the 'no' in my head.- Huge, ugly, commercial adds. Those that spoil the whole site. Popup-adds are as evil. Though these google-adds for example are okay if embedded into the site decently.
- SPAMMAILS!
- ICQ. That's just me, really, but I don't like ICQ.
- The new (wait... over a year online now...) hotmail layout. Why can't I open my mails in a new window anymore?
- Leet typing and similar things, or people who don't use any commata etc.
- Flash intros
- Guestbookspam. Ew.

Noted?
- Why do so many people have their whole site in a popup? I like popups for single pages, like quilts or splash or whatever, but the whole site?- Iframes aren't cool anymore. I mean, I still like them lots, but they get used less and less. Poor things. *pats*
